Winning Competition Entry: Watch it here!
The winner of the recent mystmargarets.com competition “I love St Margarets because...?” has been announced. The first prize of a £700 DSLR Canon EOS 450D Camera was finally awarded to 26 year old life-long St Margarets resident Kate Poxton.
Sponsors Chase Buchanan who generously donated the first prize said "the competition was incredibly hard to judge. We were very surprised and delighted with the number of quality entries - it is evident a lot of time and love has gone into this."
The Chase Buchanan judges were faced with a daunting task with entries pouring in from local residents, schools, photographers and street tango dancers! Winner Kate produced a charming photomontage of her personal St Margarets highlights set to her own lilting backing track.
A keen would-be photographer, Kate was without her own camera when she entered the competition - not something she needs to worry about now thanks to mystmargarets.com and Chase Buchanan.
The five finalists for the competition were:
1st Place and winning entry - Kate Poxton of St Margarets.

3rd Place - Simon Baronti from Twickenham.
4th Place - Molly Morgan, aged just 12 weeks and 3 days when her entry was submitted!

Entries will be available for viewing soon at Chase Buchanan’s St Margarets offices.
Anyone who didn't win this time needn’t despair, the latest mystmargarets.com competition "Where's the Bunny?" can be entered each week until Easter to be in with a chance of winning a 4.5kg [yes 4.5kg!] Easter egg, see: Competitions.
