A Thank You to the unsung heroes of the Crown Rd Fair

Alot of work went into the Crown Road Community Christmas Fair last Sunday, and here we’d like to thank some of the people whose hard work behind the scenes made it all possible…

Rayma Khatun, trainee engineer at the council; and her colleagues Mick Potter and Kevin Tester, for helping us work with Thames Water and for their help in making sure Crown Road was ready for the fair! Our 3 ward councillors Geoff Acton, Alex Ehmann and Ben Khosa were also instrumental in this; thank you, councillors.

London Borough of Richmond upon Thames council, and Councillor Pam Fleming for their continuing support!

Neil Roster of Moodies Leisure who organised the St Margarets Traders Association’s Soup Stall, ably abetted by Colin Cross! “Colin and Neil’s Bottomless Soup Kitchen”, they insisted on us calling it!

Maureen of Kings Road, who helped provide power for Santa’s Grotto!

Fin and Dom, for putting up posters, clearing-up rubbish and helping with stalls!

Amanda Wilkinson of Vintage and Velvet who organised the Fair!

And finally, thank you to all you residents and visitors who came down and enjoyed the day. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but we hope you’ll agree it was all worth it!
