We Love Chase Buchanan's Love Letter to St Margarets

This just in from Chase Buchanan’s facebook page:

“Thinking of moving to St Margarets…You’ll be mad not too!

Here at Chase Buchanan we love being in St Margarets and so do our Tenants! It’s really not hard to find out why with an array of coffee shops to choose from which are mostly independent, some small and cosy, some big enough to house new mums with their buggies for that important get together. For a spot of lunch, if you fancy French or Italian there is the choice between Brula for fine dining or Brocca for fabulous pasta, or to go classic but great pub food the two fantastic pubs on offer are the St Margarets Tavern or tucked away on Winchester Rd is The Turks Head, very popular with the locals. That’s enough about food now so onto how you can burn all those calories off! With plenty of green space around you’re spoilt for choice on where you go for your morning run, take a stroll along Crown Rd taking in the aromas of La Boulangerie on the way.

Marble Hill Park can be found just at the bottom of Crown Rd, where lots of events are held throughout the year - such as the Foodies Festival (sorry, food again!) and the House Festival with fantastic line ups. Moor Mead Park has an all-important children’s play area, as well as Tennis courts for those wanting to be the next Andy Murray/Novak Djokovic/Petra Kvitova. The wonderful open spaces of Old Deer Park and Richmond Park are a healthy walk away.

St Margarets village really is a hidden gem and has everything you need from spending a day at the Salon to picking up the groceries.

If you need to jump on a train to London, for work or just to go and watch one of the many fabulous shows in the West End, then getting there will not be an issue at all. Just one stop from Richmond where the fast line train will get you there quicker than you can say, ‘Hakuna Matata’. If you fancy a few drinks by the Thames, then the walk to Richmond along the River really is a must, especially during these gorgeous summer months. Ticking all the boxes this is a wonderful family area with plenty to do and plenty to see. What’s not to like!
