There are big weekends and there are BIG weekends

There is A LOT happening this weekend:

If you went to see Hustler rock the Turk’s Head last night, you’ll need to detox a bit, so
today, start off with mixed-abilities mat classes in Pilates Plus’ Studio 117 from 10am - to celebrate the St Margarets Music Festival this week there’s music during the class!

After the exercise, keep your ears open outside La Boulangerie, where there may well be a very special junior violinist performing…

And on the St Margarets Tavern’s decking there’s the Richmond Ukelele Players busking with Vital Voices community choir to raise money for Off the Record, the local counseling charity

And when night falls there’s live music at the Crown: favourite Sam Wedgewood is performing from 8pm!

phew

And after all that…

IT’S ST MARGARETS’ CROWN ROAD COMMUNITY FAIR from 11am - 4pm (Sunday 8/6/14) with…
Bouncy castle, inflatable slides, real-life pony rides down Bridle Lane and for the more foolhardy/adventurous a mechanical Bucking Bronco(!), the Tavern’s hog roast, a massive apple-bobbing game (!!), fortune telling, the police are bringing their squad-car for your little-ones to investigate (!!!), jewellery stalls, Orleans Park Junior School, designer wellies (!!!!), accordionists, stilt-walking, face-painting, burgers from Zoran’s deli’, Gymboree, The Training Works, Mary Regan’s Cancer research Stall (let’s get her to her £100,000 target this weekend, folks!), Asian arts and crafts, aromatherapy, spinal therapy, the small matter of 6 amazing live bands playing from 12 til 6pm…

Have we forgotten anything? Well… yes. Find out what on Sunday! See you there, St Margarets. xxXXooOOxx
