Thank you to our sponsors for making the Crown Road Community Fair on Sunday possible:

Thank you to Chase Buchanan whose sponsorship allowed us to have bands playing, and thank you to Neil Birkett of Birkett’s Bespoke (menswear, 20 Crown road) for arranging the music, to Eddie Cox for providing PA, to Alasdair of Radio Jackie for generously donating his time and dulcet tones as compere, to “Gorgeous” Gary Flynn of London Network Scaffolding for providing the stage out of the goodness of his heart, and to the fantastic bands for rocking our socks off: Garage Racer, The Holt Brothers (in action below), Anelisa Limola, The AllBeats, Skalectrix, and Sugar T and the Swells! Big thanks to the Tavern forsponsoring the Punch and Judy Show too.

Thank you to Fitz-Gibbon whose sponsorship provided the brilliant street entertainers. David is pictured below (right of shot), and beneath him there are the 2 tallest sisters in St Margarets. They helped our local fundraiser Mary Regan raise over £840 for Cancer Research UK! Dolly Rock (boutique, Crown Road) also helped by sponsoring Mary’s stall!

Thank to the RFU for their continuing support. The RFU fun tokens (pictured here, being handed-out by the Mayor) entitled the lucky bearers to a free go on one of the fun rides!

Thank you to the Mayor herself on her penultimate day of official duties (we’ll miss you, Cllr Meena Bond!) and to LBRuT Council for their sponsorship and help with road closures and permits. Here’s the Mayor taming the wild Bucking Bronco ride:

Other civic figures who gave-up their Sunday deserve our thanks too: So cheers to Community Links Officer John Addicott, and PCSO Eugenia Valour and her colleagues for bringing their squad car and police-gear to show all the kids!

HUGE thanks to Amanda Wilkinson of Vintage and Velvet (antiques, 8 Crown Road - pictured below), for organising such a brilliant day! Well done Amanda, and thank you!

Finally, thank YOU, St Margarets, for coming out in your droves to enjoy the day and for showing the world why St Margarets is such a great place to live!
